Daylight Savings Time and Check
Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Make sure to turn your clocks forward one hour and remember this is the time to check and change the batteries in all smoke detectors.
Working smoke detectors are extremely important when anyone has a fire in their home. We know smoke detectors save lives so please change your batteries this weekend.
If you have a long life (10 year) battery operated smoke detector, instead of changing the batteries, check the detector to ensure it works.
